This Month at a Glance Welcome back! We’re off to a great start. This month, PTSA welcomed our teachers and staff back with the Welcome Back Breakfast, held our first Executive Board Meeting, and welcomed our Student Rep Leads. Coming up in September, we’re looking forward to our first Association Meeting and Principal’s Coffee of the school year. PTSA Highlights Welcome Back Breakfast We started the year by welcoming our teachers and staff back to campus with our annual Welcome Back Breakfast. A big thank you to everyone who helped make the event possible and helped us start the school year on a warm and positive note! PTSA Executive Board Update
Our PTSA held its first Executive Board Meeting of the school year, officially kicking off our work for 2026-27. We’re also excited to welcome our Student Representative Leads, who will help bring student voices and perspectives into PTSA throughout the year. Coming Up PTSA Association Meeting September 15 | 7:00–7:45 PM | Student Union Our September meeting will include our first Association Meeting of the school year. We’ll review and adopt the 2026–27 PTSA budget and calendar and share more about what’s ahead. All PTSA members are welcome and encouraged to attend! Principal’s Coffee #1 September 18 | 8:45–9:45 AM | Student Union Join us for our first Principal’s Coffee of the year! Hear school updates directly from our principal, learn more about what’s happening on campus, and connect with our MVHS community. Parent Education #1: Little-Known Secrets of Paying for College September 24 | 7:00-8:00 PM | Online Webinar Presented by The College Funding Coach, this session will share practical strategies to help families better understand college costs, financial aid, CSS Profile, scholarships, and ways to make college more affordable. Reflections Arts Program Submit Your Entry by October 15,2026 This year’s Reflections theme is “What My Culture Means to Me!” Students are invited to express their creativity through visual arts, photography, literature, music composition, dance choreography, or film production.
