Comments from Attendees....
Parent : "Awesome informal interaction. Lots of useful information."
(physician)
Student, junior: "It was very helpful! They were very nice and informative and really helped answer my questions about that profession. They were also very encouraging and really promoted their career which was nice. Invite them back."
(physical therapist)
Student, senior: "It is very helpful! Really changed my perspective about my career, and the content is plenty. I used to think science projects are all long-term, but from the presentation I was informed that medical device business would be more short-term.”
Student, junior: "She was very enthusiastic and outgoing! Had a lot of energy in her presentation."
(veterinarian)
Student, freshman: "This was the most helpful speaker I visited. He had information about the processes of applying to a pre-med, medical school, and then the fellowship, etc. afterwards. He was able to share not only the physical motions of the job but the emotional restraints and what factors you should look for to choose which medical division to go into. He also explained the difference between academic doctor vs. clinical doctor/GP and the struggles he and many other aspiring doctors/medical professionals go through. Overall, very informative and I got a good idea about the overall career and the medical industry. I think he should be invited back to talk to more students! He was also very open to questions (even the most basic ones) and answered them all well."
