"I am Hopeful Because"

"I am hopeful because..." -- This is the theme for the 2023-2024 Reflections Art Program. Do you enjoy art, music or dance? Do you have an interest in writing, producing films or taking photos? If any of your answers are “yes”, then be prepared to unleash your inner artist and participate in the National PTA Reflections contest! You’ll be able to choose one of the following areas that appeals to you to create art and express your thoughts:

Monta Vista will select one entry per category to go to the Council (Cupertino-Fremont-Sunnyvale). Top three entries of each category will be awarded at the Council and the top award will be advanced to the Sixth District PTA (Santa Clara, San Benito and Monterey Counties). From that point on winners will be advanced to the state and national levels. Founded in 1969, the National PTA Reflections engages nearly 300,000 students and their families in arts education activities each year - encouraging students to explore the arts for fun and recognition.
