Workshop Topics
  • Adolescent Brain development and how alcohol and drugs affect the brain.
  • Substance use, abuse and addiction
  • Various drugs used by teens and their effects on the body
  • What parents can do if they suspect their child is using/abusing drugs and/or alcohol
  • Effective parenting practices such as: communications skills, implementing limits, rules and consequences and
    where to seek support/resources if needed.
Light snacks and refreshments provided.
