Monta Vista Traffic

Monta Vista administrators and PTSA volunteers work with Cupertino's Safe Routes to School Program to identify and build safer passageways for students. Over the summer the city has added green bike lanes and "sharrows" around the school and has begun reviewing crosswalk safety through the city, but there is more that can be done.

Over the next several months the city will be conducting a study to look at the possibility of protected bike lanes, better signage and signaling, crossing guards, sidewalk issues and bike-ped safety awareness campaigns.  Below are resources for learning more about these issues, and for sharing your ideas.

Resources

• Walk-Bike Cupertino
• Safe Routes to School
•
Bike-Ped Commission
