For You, Your Family and Friends
Mental Health and Community Resources
Fremont Union High School District continues to build on our longstanding efforts to develop resources and partnerships that support the wellness of our students and school community. For the remainder of the school year, we will be partnering with Care Solace, an online resource meant to assist individuals in finding local mental health related programs and counseling services. You will be assigned a personal Care Concierge to support you through the process of finding mental health care. The Care Concierge team will be available to you 24/7 and support your preferred language. Your Care Concierge will make phone calls for you to quickly find a verified provider matched to your needs who is accepting new clients. You will have access to thousands of verified resources that will accept your insurance, private or Medi-Cal, or provide sliding scale options. Your Care Concierge will personally assist you with booking an appointment and will check in to be sure you care happy with the matched provider. The preferred method for FUHSD students and families to access Care Solace services is by contacting our School Linked Services Specialist Jasmine Kroner at [email protected] or 408-522-2288 x4056. Our administrators, guidance counselors, school-based therapists and psychologists can assist in making a referral to School Linked Services.
Care Solace is now available for use by district families and staff at no cost. All information entered on the Care Solace tool is completely confidential and securely stored. Please note, this service is an optional resource available by choice and is not mandatory in any way. Care Solace is not an emergency response service or mental health services provider. In the event of a life-threatening emergency, please call 9-1-1 or visit your nearest hospital emergency room if you can get there safely.
