Educational EventsEvery year the MVPTSA hosts several free educational events for all the parents, teachers and students. We bring in nationally renowned experts as well as seek help from our own expert internal staff and students to conduct these events. The goal is to help all of us understand more about ourselves, our relationships and the issues that concern us during the high-school and beyond in college years. They may also serve as inspiration to know more and share amongst us.
These events are planned during the fall, winter and spring school sessions. They will be held in school auditorium or library during week nights or on Saturday mornings. Exact times and dates are posted and kept updated on the website. In the past, we have hosted panel discussions with topics such as ‘What Really Goes on at Monta Vista’, and another with anonymous letters that tells our parent body how the students really feel on sensitive topics. We invite family and relationship coaches and counselors, on surviving Junior and Senior years and many others. Please plan to join us for these free events. You will come away with insights and perspectives that may help you and your child deal with all the pressure that these high school years bring.
